Lorraine Paul
As a result of a back injury in 2014, Lorraine was introduced to Pilates. With regular practice she was soon able to return to competitive sport
A life of competing in amateur sports, included Athletics, Rowing, lots and lots of Field Hockey, and a few of Marathons and Triathlons, gave rise to a number of sports related injuries. Lorraine found Pilates exercise not only improved strength and flexibility, but was a means of improving biomechanics
So impressed with the Pilates method for keeping the body strong and well balanced, Lorraine strove to make Pilates part of her every day life, teaching anyone who would listen, about the transformational benefits of the Pilates Method
Outside of teaching Private Sessions and classes, Lorraine practices Pilates regularly, enjoying the challenge and benefits of the Intermediate and Advanced Pilates Repertoires.
These days...Lorraine also enjoys regular practice in Tai Chi and Yoga. Swimming, cycling and walking her dog. When the opportunities arise travelling, skiing, surfing, sailing and stand-up paddle boarding, to name but a few...
